ACCESS
Open Access Policy
1. Open Access Principles
The journal is committed to disseminating scientific knowledge openly to support education, research, healthcare, and community service.
All published articles are accessible to the public without restrictions based on institutional affiliation, geographical location, or membership status.
2. Immediate Access Without an Embargo
The full text of each article is openly available from the date of publication, without an embargo period. Readers are not charged subscription or pay-per-article fees for access.
Registration or login is not required to read or download articles. A user account may be required for other functions, such as manuscript submission and peer review, but is not a condition of reader access.
3. Scope of Open Content
Open access covers:
- Article pages and bibliographic metadata.
- Full-text articles in the formats published by the journal.
- Supplementary files designated as public components of an article.
- Correction notices, expressions of concern, and retraction notices.
Unpublished manuscripts, reviewer reports, editorial correspondence, and personal or confidential documents do not automatically become open content.
4. Copyright and Reuse
Free access to articles does not extinguish copyright. Rights to copy, share, translate, or adapt material are governed by the license stated in the article and the journal's Licensing Policy.
Users must provide attribution and comply with the applicable license terms. Third-party material subject to different terms is governed by the accompanying notices.
5. Reader Access and Publication Fees
Reader access remains free, regardless of whether authors are charged any fees.
Any submission, processing, or article publication fees are announced separately on the Publication Fees page. An open access statement does not mean that all publishing services for authors are automatically free of charge.
6. Research Data and Information Protection
Open access to an article does not mean that all research data must be made available without restriction. Data availability is subject to ethical requirements, participant consent, confidentiality, third-party rights, and the journal's data policy.
Personal data, patient information, and sensitive information are not published solely to satisfy the principle of openness.
7. Continuity of Access
Journal management maintains access to previously published issues in accordance with the Electronic Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy. Technical disruptions are addressed through the applicable recovery procedures.
Corrected or retracted articles are handled in accordance with the Correction and Retraction Policy. Content restriction or removal is considered only in exceptional, justifiable circumstances, with notice to readers wherever possible.
8. Access Support and Effective Date
Readers experiencing access difficulties may contact journal management through the journal's official contact channels, providing the article title or link and a description of the problem.
This policy takes effect on the date announced on the journal's website and is reviewed periodically.
