PERAN FITOTERAPI DALAM MENDUKUNG PENGOBATAN DIABETES SECARA ALAMI
Keywords:
diabetes, phytotherapy, counselingAbstract
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires long-term treatment, including through natural approaches such as
phytotherapy. This counseling was conducted in the form of a webinar with respondents from various cities in Indonesia,
such as Tasikmalaya, Banjar, Majalengka, Ciamis, Kuningan, and Pangandaran. The material presented included an
introduction to phytotherapy, types of plants that have the potential to help manage diabetes, and how to use them
safely. Before and after the counseling, participants were asked to fill out a questionnaire in the form of pretest and
posttest questions to measure their level of knowledge. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in
posttest scores compared to the pretest, indicating that the counseling was successful in improving participants'
understanding of the topics covered. In conclusion, online counseling on phytotherapy can be an effective educational
method in improving people's knowledge of natural diabetes management. This webinar also emphasized the
importance of continuous education to support the wise and safe use of herbal therapies
