SUDUT PANTOSCOPIC PEMAKAI KACAMATA DI SMA AL-MUTTAQIN KOTA TASIKMALAYA

Abstract


Pantoscopic angles on the glasses that are not right will affect the vision comfort. The aims of this study was to determine the profile of the wearer's pantoscopic angle and the causes of the incompatibility of the glasses. A total of 100 bespectacle students’ of SMA Al-Muttaqin in Tasikmalaya were included in this study. The results of this study indicate that there are 27% of glasses that have a standard pantoscopic angle. The slope of the pantoscopic angle is due to the bad habit of using glasses. There were 42% of students who stated that their glasses had been worn during sleep, and 53% of students stated that they had been crushed by a heavy object. Even so, 91% of students stated that the glasses they wear today are still comfortable.
