KELELAHAN PADA PASIEN DENGAN PENYAKIT KRONIS

Abstrak

Penyakit kronis merupakan masalah kesehatan yang dialami lebih dari 6 (enam) bulan. Penyakit kronis yang dialami pasien dapat berupa penyakit infeksi seperti tubercullosis maupun non infeksi seperti hepatitis, stroke, gagal ginjal dan gagal jantung. Masalah yang timbul dari penyakit kronis adalah nyeri, kelelahan dan meningkatnya beban finansial pasien. Kelelahan merupakan salah satu akibat penyakit kronis yang menurunkan produktivitas dan pada akhirnya akan menurunkan kualitas hidup. Kelelahan didefinisikan sebagai ketidakberdayanan secara fisik maupun psikologis sehingga pasien tidak dapat melakukan aktivitas seperti biasa. Tujuan penyusunan tinjauan literatur ini adalah menjelaskan kelelahan atau fatigue pada pasien dengan penyakit kronis. Metode yang digunakan adalah mengulas literatur keperawatan dan kedokteran dari tahun 2014 sampai tahun 2018 dan terkumpul sebanyak 84 jurnal terkait kelelahan pada penyakit kronis. Hasil penelusuran menunjukan bahwa kelelahan merupakan masalah yang dapat ditangani pada pasien dengan penyakit kronis.
