Analisis Kepatuhan Minum Obat Anti Diabetik Terhadap Kadar Gula Darah Puasa Dan Nilai Hba1c Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus

Abstract

Kontrol of fasting blood sugar levels in diabetes is very important. One of the factor that affect controlling blood sugar levels in adherence to taking anti-diabetic drugs.
Objective: to analyze the relationship between adherences to taking oral anti-diabetic medication to fasting blood sugar levels HbA1c value in diabetes mellitus patients. The study designed used an analytic survey with sectional technique, using multiple linear regression tests with total sample of 140 respondents aged 40-80 years suffering of diabetes mellitus.The level of patient adherence showed low adherence as much as 58.6% and 41.4% high adherence in taking anti-diabetic drugs. Patients with the highest category of fasting blood sugar levels were the target category not achieved as much as 62.1% and 41.4 targets were achieved. Patients with the most HbA1c result were target category not achieved as much as 73.6% and the target was achieved 26. 4%. Multiple linear regression test show that there is an effect of compliance with fasting sugar levels and HbA1c value with the resulting p value (0.00). There is a correlation between adherence to taking anti-diabetic medication with fasting blood sugar levels and HbA1c value in Prolanis patients aged 40-80 years at Banyumas Health Center, East Purwokerto 1, Jatilawang and Pekuncen. Patients with fasting blood sugar levels and HbA1c value that were not achieved were more adherent and low and taking anti-diabetes drugs, whereas patients with fasting blood sugar levels and HbA1c values achieved high adherence in taking anti-diabetic drugs.
